Girls Indoor track All Stars: BG’s Garnick dashes to POY status

Girls Indoor Track Player of the Year: Betsy Garnick, jr., Bishop Guertin

With few local winners at the Divisional level in track this year, Bishop Guertin High School junior Betsy Garnick won two events herself – the 55 dash and 55 hurdles – while also anchoring the Cardinals’ first-place 4x200 team. The Guertin junior then took her talents to the regional level, and finished an impressive fourth in the hurdles at New Englands.
