Jackals 4, Defenders 1

LITTLE FALSS, N.J. - The American Defenders of New Hampshire were edged by the New Jersey Jackals 4-1 at Yogi Berra Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

New Jersey’s Justin Humphries went 2-for-4 in the game with a double and the game winning two-RBI single in the seventh inning.

Reliever Luis Ramos (4-3) took the loss, giving up three runs in two-thirds of an innings, on one hit and two walks. The Defenders’ Jerod Edmondson went 2-for-3 in the game with an RBI and a stolen base. Jabe Bergeron tripled and scored the lone N.H. run.
