Nashua 15s fall
in state tourney

Nashua’s 15-year-old Babe Ruth All-Stars’ run in the state tournament in Salem ended Tuesday night with a 2-1 loss to the A. J. Laramie stars from Laconia.

Nashua held a 1-0 lead going into the bottom of the seventh inning when A. J. Laramie bunched together three hits after a leadoff error.

Offensively, Nashua had 10 hits, led by Mike Pelletier with two.

Nashua’s hard luck pitcher was Connor Mullaly, who struck out 11 batters in a route-going performance.

The Nashua All Stars included Pelletier, Max Coffin, Charles Mellen, Larry Lassiter, Cole Nickerson, Timmy Brown, Joe Bernard, Carter Cormier, Sam Martin, Cam Paquette, Mullaly, Noah Ouellette, Jeremiah Latham and Grant Coy.

The coaches were Duane Erickson, Brendan Mullaly and Daniel Latham.
