Hollis Brookline sweeps

The Hollis Brookline Dodgers swept a New England Independent Baseball League doubleheader Saturday, topping Belmont 3-2 and 4-2

Pitchers Nate Corsetti, Jack Belanger and Jack McLeod combined on a two-hitter in the first game, which was decided by Austin Pigott’s walk-off single.

In the second game, Shea Whalen struck out 12 and allowed just one earned run. James McCann’s bases-loaded single decided it, with key hits also coming from Cam Chrystal and Will Collins.
