Nashua North splits with Bedford, Spaulding on the links

Nashua High School North’s Brandon Gillis was three shots off the pace of medalist Ryan Brown on Wednesday at Rochester Country Club as Brown’s 34 paced Bedford to a 194-209 win over the Titans and 194-223 win over host Spaulding.

Gillis’ 37, combined with a 38 from Michael Jensen and 44’s from Brian Provencher and Alex Richard helped the Titans earn the split with a win over the Red Raiders on the opening day of high school golf action statewide. ...

Now 1-1, North will travel to Keene for a meeting with the Blackbirds Wednesday, Sept. 3.
