Track: Campbell’s Jeffrey Allen triples in Division III State Track Meet
Riding a huge day from Jeffrey Allen, Campbell High’s boys placed second Saturday at the Division III State Track Meet.
The senior Allen was a mad man for the Cougars taking home three wins. He won the 1600 at 4:37.36, the 800 at 2:01.84 and the 3200 at 9:55.12.
Tori Allen took home the lone win for the girls in the high jump with a height of 5-02, while getting runner up in the 100 hurdles (16.56).
Joshua Hoffman grabbed a solid second place finish in discus with a distance of 141-09.
Tyler St. Onge, Michael Abelson, Trevor Carty and Jaylen Owen had a time of 48.23 to place second in the 4×100. Luke Gomes (800), Trevor Scopelites (1600) and Cassie Hemming (1600) each ended the championships with third-place finishes.
For Wilton-Lyndeborough, Samuel Bailey secured championships in the shot put with a distance of 50-0 and the discus at 150-11.
