The Cardinals secured the victory, winning four out of the six matches all by pin. Jesse Brochu go the ball rolling with a win at 132,

Matt Frechette won at 152, Dan Franco at 160, and Brain Kukulski at 170. Souhegan mustered up two wins. One by James Raiser by pin at 126 and Victor Ceballos winning 7-5 at 145.

Timberlane 69, Alvirne 9

Kyle Gora won by pin at 170 and Bailey Lussier won an 8-3 decision at 182, for the Broncos only wins of the match.

The Cougars brought eight wrestlers and all eight won. Trevor O’Mara started things off with a pin at 145, Dave Donnelly won by pin at 152, Robert Ladd won by pin at 160, Brett McInerney won a 9-6 decision at 170, Garrett Walker won by pin at 182, Mat Graveling won by pin at 195, Justin Gandia won by pin at 106, and Tyler O’Hara finished the day off with a pin at 138.

The Cavaliers opened their season with decisive win over the Warriors. Winning by pin were Dan Delong (132), Teddy Moscatelli (145), Robbie Dwyer (152), and Scott Anneser (170). Owen MacMillan won by technical fall.

Pinkerton 60, North 24

The Titans couldn’t find their stride to open up the season, falling to Pinkerton. North winners were Benjamin Haight (pin, 106), Andrew Frye (forfeit, 120), Trenton Gerlowski (pin, 132), and Dominick Gentry (pin, 170).

Twin wins for South

The Panthers went 2-0, defeating Manchester Memorial 54-16 and Pelham 48-30. South had seven wrestlers with two wins apiece: Kyle Salemi (126), Colby Spencer (120), Kyle Vancelette (138), Tom Cullerton (152), Connor Goodwin (160), Robert Isaac (182), and Kyle O’Connor (heavyweight).
