Andy Basque, known for his defensive prowess, netted both goals, including the game winner in the 80th minute to deliver the win. Max Burns assisted on the game winner for HB, now 8-4. Ryan Coutu made nine saves to preserve the victory, while Felix Yang, Danny Kennedy,and Dale Jacobs play strong supporting roles for the winners.

Nashua North 1, Dover 1

Sami Dieu Merci scored the Titan goal, assisted by Colin Miller. Stephen Norris played very well in goal to protect the stalemate for North, which now stands at 7-2-1.


Winnisquam 3, Campbell 1

The defending state champions surrendered one game to the Cougars, but that was all in a 25-10, 25-18, 23-25, 25-15 decision. Liv Garand led Campbell with a dozen kills. Jordan Kanaley had a solid night with 18 assists, a pair of aces and two kills. Caedran Sullivan had seven kills, while freshman Catherine Carignan has three kills and six digs.

Milford 3, Pelham 0

The Spartans, now 10-1, rolled to their eighth straight victory, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-17. Robyn Krafft served five aces, while Isabel Philbrick smacked six Spartan kills. Kailyn Chamberlin dished out 11 assists.

Field Hockey

Bishop Guertin 3, Exeter 1

Brooke Yabroudy scored two quick goals with assists from Rachel Reardon and Emily Foltan, and the Cardinals never looked back. Kennedy Wrightpadded the lead, with an assist to Sarah Coyle, helping BG move to 6-4-1. Monina Tosi and Makenna Reekie combined for the win in goal for the Cardinal, who host Nashua South today at 5:30.
