High School Highlights: South, Merrimack golf fall

Hanover 191, South 242, Merrimack 250

The Panthers and the Tomahawks fell behind quickly on Hanover’s home course.

T.J. Gillis led the way for the South with a 42, while Alexis St. Laurent (48), Grace Conard (49), Steven Robbe (50), and Kaley Poullen (53) rounded off the day for the Panthers.

South is 1-1 on the season, as prepares to face Bishop Guertin on

Tuesday.

Exeter 197, Guertin 209, Salem 234

Ryan Horgan had the second lowest score of the game with a 39, but Exeter got the best of the Cardinals.

Jack Fitzgerald (41), Alex Koutsos (42), Aaron Pratt (43), and Brad Dubay (44) also had a great day on the green for Guertin.

Bishop Guertin drops to 1-1 on the season and play Spaulding and Merrimack on Friday.

Hollis Brookline 96,

C-Brown 54, Milford 45

The Cavaliers managed to pick up two early wins on the season, defeating Coe-Brown and Milford at home.

Aaron Brown was the point leader of the match with 24 for the Hollis Brookline.

Rory Klauber and Matt Dias contributed 20 and 19 points each, while teammates Colin McDonald and Garrett Struges tallied 17 and 16 points respectively.

Hollis Brookline will play Windham, Milford, and Pembroke on Tuesday at Windham.

The Spartans were led by Ryan Cavanaugh and Jacob Dube in the loss.
