The host Panthers, thanks to Kirsten McIntyre’s career high 23 points, snapped a five-game skid to improve to 5-9. Ariana Murray added 14 for the Panthers, who used a press most of the night. South, holding on to the final playoff spot with a couple of weeks to go, is right back at it on Friday at home vs. Salem.

The shorthanded Titans, despite 11 points from Ariana Motivala and eight from Katherine Carr fell to 5-8. The Titans, who were without Danielle Upton (concussion) and Alana Choate (leg) are off until they host Bedford on Tuesday.
