Saber girls knock off Windham to snap streak
The visiting Sabers snapped a six game losing streak by handing Windham just its second loss (8-2).
Mia Len was on fire for the locals with 28 points, while Maddie Robisheau added 10 and Emma Parrot added four. Kenzie Robinson and Beth Apple played well defensively for the 5-7 Sabers, who host Kearsarge on Tuesday.
The Warriors got eight points each from Abby Leblanc and Brooke Lanefell, but remain winless on the season (0-10). Cheyenne Hall (three points), Rama Koudsi and Sophia Sistachs (two each) rounded out the scoring.
Zach Stimeling scored at 3:25 of the third period, assisted by Isaiah Kepnes, to snap a 2-2 tie as the Tomahawks improved to x-x. Kepnes scored earlier, assisted by Stimeling, and Greg Bourque scored an unassisted goal. Domenic Carozza and Stephen Licata also had assists on the day for the ‘Hawks, who visit Dover on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Panthers totaled 339 points, while the Titans had 333 in the five team meet won by Bedford (392).
Leading the Panthers were Andrew Dunhom in 20th (1:31.68), Trevor Stewart in 22nd (1:33.69) and Caleb Hunter 24th (1:41.59).
For the Titans, Colin McMahon was the top local in 17th (1:21.69) while Aidan Belanger was 25h (1:41.74).
North girls third, South fifth
The Titans totaled 357 points behind second place Pinkerton (377) and winner Bedford (391). Leading the way for North was Isabelle Gates in sixth in 1:48.49, followed by Emily Wynne (21, 1:29.77) and Sarah Dobens (23rd, 1:31.58).
The Panthers totaled 250 points, paced by Emma Murphy (27, 1:35.51) and Jaimee Conmy (34, 1:43.30).
