Merrimack girls hoop tops Londonderry for eighth win

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Merrimack 49, Londonderry 35

Jolie Jacoby had 10 points while Sara Wozniak added nine and Abby Yuan eight as the Tomahawks won their fourth straight to move to 8-3 on the season. They visit Alvirne on Friday.

Bedford 53, Alvirne 28

The Broncos gave the unbeaten Bulldogs (9-0) all they could handle but were blanked 13-0 in the fourth quarter to fall to 2-7. Brenna Paquette played a good game, pacing the Bronco offense.

Coe-Brown 55, Souhegan 35

Mia Len had 18 points, but Souhegan struggled finding the range all night long. The Sabers trailed 26-11 at the half and fell to 4-7 on the year. CBNA is also 4-6. Thursday, Souhegan heads to Windham.

Merrimack 45,Londonderry 44

The Tomahawks stunned the Lancers, stopping Londonderry on several attempts in the final minute, to even their Division I record to 4-4.

UNIFIED BASKETBALL

Nashua South 46, Nashua North 40

The Titans tried to rally from a 17-point deficit and cut the margin to two before the Panthers pulled away in the Battle of the Bridge at North. South was led by the scoring of Charles Arndorfer and Daija Davis, while Matthew Dobens had 12 and Matt Umali eight for Nashua North.
