Bedford starts strong in D-I with win over Nashua North
Bedford scored three shorthanded goals in its first Division I game to beat Nashua North 4-1 at Saint Anselm’s Sullivan Arena.
Ryan Marvin scored a power-play goal late in the third period for North (0-1) and Sean Chipman played well in goal.
Bedford (1-0) got a goal and an assist from Brett Veilleux, while Danato Tempesta and Nathaniel John each had two assists. Matthew Musgrave, Griffin Gagne and Jacob Rioux also had goals for Bedford and Alec Lindberg was solid in net.
