Merrimack sweeps Bishop Guertin, Goffstown in tri-match

Led by senior Zack Amodio and freshman Jacob Weaver, Merrimack recorded wins over Bishop Guertin and Goffstown on Saturday morning at Merrimack Ten Pin.

Amodio and Weaver each posted two-game totals of 420, as Merrimack finished with a team score of 1,832 for four points. BG finished with 1,528 to earn two points, while Goffstown closed out with 1,514 for one point.

Helping Amodio and Weaver lift the Tomahawks to victory were Drew Halpin (two-game score of 365), Ethan Brodell (361) and Matt Larson (268).

This was the first regular-season match following the Ray Boyden Memorial kickoff tournament at Merrimack Ten Pin on Dec. 6, during which Keene beat Merrimack in the finals.
