Hollis Brookline ‘D’ wins another

PELHAM – Hollis Brookline got the lone touchdown of the game courtesy of Matt Ferenczhalmy with four minutes remaining in regulation for a 7-0 Cavaliers win over host Pelham in Division II action.

The run capped a three-minute, 60-yard drive for HB, who improved to 3-3, while the Pythons dropped to 2-3.

HB could be the best defensive team in Division 2. In the last five games it has given up just 48 points and recorded two interceptions in the most recent win.

It certainly won’t get any easier for Pelham, which next Saturday is playing at vaunted Windham for a homecoming game.

“We had a lot of penalties,” lamented Pythons coach Ryan Clark. “Any time we had something rolling, it was called back.”
