NH Running Festival is a significant expansion of The Telegraph's Santa Fund Run by way of a three-day running event. The Festival will feature a one-mile run, the Santa Fund 5K-10K race, and our first half-marathon. Runners of all calibers will enjoy race routes that include the beautiful trails of Mine Falls Park.
NH Running Festival was created by The Telegraph and is in partnership with
Millennium Running for course and time management.

NH Running Festival Expo will take place at the YMCA of Greater Nashua and will showcase vendors who cater to the sports and wellness industry. Participants will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with vendors regarding their sports apparel, accessories, health tips and more. The expo is open to the public and is free to attend.
Race Packet Pick-Up: all race participants are required to stop by the expo to collect their race packets. Each participant will need to present a photo ID and submit a signed race waiver.

In its 37th year, The Santa Fund Run is a 5K and 10K race that helps kick off the donation/gift giving collection for The Santa Fund. All net proceeds from this race will benefit the Santa Fund, which is in its 52nd year of helping those less fortunate in Greater Nashua during the holidays.
Starting at the YMCA, the race is both a 5K and 10K will take runners to Nashua HS South and onto the trails in Mine Falls Park in Nashua. It is generally a flat course with gorgeous views of ponds, canals, the Nashua River and foliage.

Santa Fund

The Santa Fund was started 52 years ago by the publisher of The Telegraph to give area needy children a happy holiday. Each year since, The Santa Fund has gathered generous donations from area residents who share with those less fortunate. The Salvation Army and Front Door Agency assist The Telegraph in the distribution of these donations

We are looking for volunteers! Community members may volunteer on behalf of the YMCA. Volunteers will assist our core team with set-up, course monitoring, water stations, tear-down, and other tasks that need to be completed throughout the day.
Volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt and food ticket.

How do I register?
Please click REGISTER NOW to access the online registration form. If you do not wish to register online, you may come to The Telegraph, Monday- Friday during normal business hours (8 AM - 5 PM) to complete a paper registration form. -
Can I register for more than one race?
YES. A participant may race in the one-mile, 5K OR 10K, and the half marathon. The 5K and 10K races take place on the same day and time, so a runner must choose one of the two races. -
Is there a minimum age?
NO. We encourage families to participate in the one-mile and 5K races. Families may walk the course together. -
How do I confirm my registration?
If you complete the online registration form, your email address is required so we may send you an email confirmation note. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact Kimberly Lencki (klencki@nashuatelegraph.com / 603-594-6471) to confirm your registration has been properly submitted. -
Is there a limit on the number of participants in the race?
No NH Running Festival does not limit the number of runners in any particular race. -
When will registration end?
Online registration will end on October 16, 2013 at noon. We encourage participants to pre-register to secure the lowest possible price. -
Can I register the day of the event?
YES. Keep in mind that day of registration comes at a higher price point and you must pay in CASH ONLY. Pre-registering helps us better plan the race, activities, food, beverage and more. And don't forget the SWAG! Swag cannot be guaranteed for day of registrations. -
Can I pick up my race material prior to the race?
YES. Race materials may be picked up at the NH Running Festival Expo on October 18th from 4-8 PM at the YMCA of Greater Nashua (gymnasium). Vendors will exhibit products and services as it relates to running, sports, and health. -
What do I need to pick up my race material?
You will need your ID and signed waiver. -
Can someone else pick up my race material?
YES, however you will be required to provide a signed waiver with a copy of your driver's license or photo ID. We encourage all participants to pick up their own materials to avoid any issues the day of the event. -
Can I transfer my fees?
Entry is NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE, and NON-DEFFERABLE.
*DISCLAIMER: Race management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to events such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, natural disasters or other emergencies. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Management may also alter the course and distance for the safety of the athletes. - What is the weather going to be like in October?

Where can my friends and family cheer me on?
Spectators may cheer you on in the designated area at the start/finish line. -
Where should I park the day of the race?
Parking is limited and you are encouraged to car pool if possible. There will be designated parking at the YMCA, in the business complex across the street from the YMCA, and at Nashua HS South. - Where can I keep my personal effects?
Bag Check Provided:
• Runners can check belongings at a designated location near the start line.
• Race organizers and all affiliates will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Do not check valuables
• Runners will be provided a claim ticket when checking a bag. You must provide the claim ticket to collect your bag. -
Can I run with iPods, MP3 Players, headphones strollers, or dogs?
While you are allowed to run with iPods, MP3 players and headphones, we encourage participants to keep your volume low for safety reasons. It is important that runners are able to hear what is going on around them at all times.
Strollers are allowed but please stay in the back of the pack when starting for safety reasons.
NO DOGS ALLOWED. -
Can I walk the 5K, 10K or half marathon?
YES, however we encourage walkers to participate in only the one-mile or 5K race. -
Are the races timed? Am I timed as a walker?
YES and YES. Each participant will have a timing chip adhered to the race bib. As the runner/walker crosses the start line, timing will begin. As the runner/walker crosses the finish line, timing is stopped. It is very important that runners/walkers do not cross the thresholds until the race has started as your time will not be accurate otherwise. -
Will there be water stops?
YES. Water stops will be strategically placed along the course to hydrate runners at different points of each race. -
Will there be food at the finish line?
YES. We will have water and snacks available for participants only at the finish line. Food and beverages will be available for purchase for spectators. - Is the race sanctioned with USA Track and Field? YES - the race is sanctioned with USA Track and Field however the course is not certified.

What do I do if I am injured on the course?
Course monitors will be stationed throughout the course to help directed runners where to go and to assist runners with injuries. Course monitors will call 911 as well as the race director to get you help as quickly as possible. -
Where can I find race results?
Results will be posted at the finish line under the tent marked “RESULTS.” Results will also be posted on nhrunningfestival.com and millenniumrunning.com. -
