Hudson AED policy puts her at ease

Letter to the Editor

After my letter was published regarding the lack of automated external defibrillators, or AEDs, in Brookline for ambulances and EMTs, I received a phone call from Lt. Mickey Rudolph of the Hudson Fire Department. (April 2: “Why don’t EMTs carry own AEDs?”)

He assured me that all first responders in this town are equipped with this lifesaving device – police, EMTs, ambulances, fire personnel and all the schools. I have absolutely never felt more safe in my town.

A huge thanks to Rudolph for contacting me and making me feel at ease, knowing that if my family and I are in need of assistance, all departments are well equipped.

Thanks for your concern, and the town of Hudson should rest assured.
