Dog owners should respect others’ yards
Let me preface this by saying that I love dogs. Our family has had several wonderful companions over the years.
What I can’t understand, though, are folks who take their dogs for a walk that includes letting them “take care of business” on someone else’s property, let alone not cleaning up.
For quite awhile, my commute took me by Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home on Kinsley Street, and I witnessed this on a daily basis.
My family lost my nephew and my mom in the span of one year, which allowed us the privilege of meeting these fine people. They have greatly invested in their business and property and are quite proud, as they should be. These are kind, hard-working folks who care about the community and the families they serve.
People, there are plenty of places for Fido to sniff out other than someone’s well-groomed lawn, and it only takes a minute to twist a few bags around a leash handle.
Please pick up after your dog and treat others the way you wish to be treated.
