Ayotte challenged on oil subsidy vote
I’ve been paying much more attention to how our senators and representatives vote in Congress.
Last month, I was baffled as to why Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., voted against ending oil and gas subsidies.
We are suffering from huge deficits, and even the oil and gas companies admit they don’t need the subsidies. So why the vote to keep them?
It doesn’t make any sense to me.
