Banks, health care both share the risk
All of us were upset with the recent fiscal crisis, where Wall Street, the banks and Fannie Mae took the risks and rewards, and we all paid the cost.
We don’t stop to think that the current health plan does the same.
If you smoke and get lung cancer, are overweight and get diabetes, or don’t watch your blood pressure and get a stroke, you are not responsible.
You took the risk.
We all pay for it.
