Travel with the Chamber

By Wendy Hunt - Executive director of the Souhegn Valley Chamber of Commerce | Feb 24, 2019

The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to offer to the community a unique opportunity to travel internationally with us on a spectacular Food and Wine Tour of Italy. You do not need to be a Chamber member to participate in this exciting trip. The trip departs from Logan to Milan on May 6, and returns May 15, from Rome to Logan.

Chamber travel provides a unique educational and cultural experience as well as a fantastic way to visit Italy with someone you trust at a great group travel rate. The Chamber and our travel partner agency handle all the details, so the hardest work you have to do is to enjoy your vacation.

The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce is partnering with award-winning Tye’s Top Tour & Travel of Merrimack to provide a nine day fully escorted trip to Italy. Stroll through Milan and learn about the city’s history and reputation as a fashion capital. Tour Lake Como, the third-largest lake in Italy, known for its incredible Mediterranean and Alpine scenery. Visit Lugano, Switzerland, also known as the “Monte Carlo of Switzerland.” Enjoy a day exploring Lake Maggiore. Take a walking tour of Old Town Florence. Visit the Tuscan Hills, where you have the opportunity to learn to make pasta Tuscan style. In Rome, enjoy a private tour of the Vatican and a comprehensive tour of city. This trip will give our travelers an in-depth cultural experience of the people, daily life and, of course, the food and wine enjoyed in these regions.

Even though this chamber of commerce trip is extremely affordable, this is a deluxe travel experience. The competitive pricing is to our group buying power. Your trip cost include: Round-trip airport shuttle to/from Exit 8 in Nashua, round trip international airfare, deluxe in-country ground transportation (including the train from Milan to Florence), deluxe hotel accommodations, including two castles, breakfast daily and six dinners, a cooking class in Tuscany, tours of Milan, Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Florence, Rome and the Vatican and much more.

We have a great group already signed up to go on this trip of a lifetime, but still have room for more. If a food and wine tour of Italy is on your bucket list, this is the trip for you.
