Building on Hope

It hardly seems possible that Building on Hope is looking for its next “Extreme Makeover” project. Building on Hope is a group of volunteers who work with builders, architects, designers and suppliers to make physical improvements to facilities of charitable organizations in need. Over the past nine years, Building on Hope has completely transformed the facilities and grounds for five charities, and we are now searching for our 2020 project.

An interested 501(c)(3) nonprofit, that owns its facility and is located within 20 miles of Manchester, should write a short letter of interest to Building on Hope. Explain the renovation work that is needed and how a remodeled building would make a difference for those you serve. The committee will read all letters received by Dec. 14, and will select the best ones to formally apply. Details and photos of our previous projects, including Easterseals NH, Girls, Inc., Opportunity Networks, the MPAL Michael Briggs Community Center and the Crisis Center of Central NH, can be found at www.buildingonhope.org. Letters can be emailed to me at kvanderbeken@eastersealsnh.org.
