Tree lighting thank you
On Dec. 2, the town of Windham celebrated its annual tree lighting festivities. It was an incredible event, thanks to the many people, businesses, staff and organizations who contributed. Santa arrived by fire truck, there was a bon fire, cookies and hot chocolate, music, activities and holiday fun.
Thank you to the generous businesses and organizations who donated a raffle basket. The raffle tickets were given out when you donated a non-perishable food item or new toy. The baskets were beautiful, and the amount collect was incredible. Thank you to all those who brought items and: Happy Feet, Dance Connection, Nancy Chippendales, Enterprise Bank, Merrimack Valley Montessori, Coco Early/Shannon DiPietro, Windham Actors Guild, Tuscan Kitchen, YMCA of Greater Londonderry, Karate International, Siri Wilbur/Verani, Let’s Play Music, Nanny Poppins Agency, Canobie Lake Vet, Women’s Service Club of Windham, State Farm and the Lions Club. Thank you to Miss Laurie from Dance Connection and her team for overseeing the baskets during the tree lighting.
