Continued tax increases hurt those on fixed incomes

Well, here we go again! Another round of tax increases for Nashua residents. We seem to have a mayor that caters to the city’s unions’ never ending cry for increasing wages, benefits and fat pensions. Wish I could belong to a union where I could get yearly raises. These tax hikes are becoming more and more difficult on workers that are on fixed incomes, such as senior citizens and for those who don’t get yearly pay raises. The only thing Mayor (Jim) Donchess seems interested in is gathering union votes come re-election time. Hopefully, voters will remember these tax hikes in the next elections and elect a mayor that will be on the taxpayers’ side. Thank you to Mr. Teeboom and Mr. Moriarity for their continued fight for the taxpayers of Nashua. Let’s hear from you. More tax increases or less.
