There is much work to be done on discrimination
The New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights stands with Claremont, N.H., this afternoon and with individuals and families across the state who are hurt by race discrimination and violence.
Many citizens from within N.H. and just over the border in Vermont have called the Commission this week to express their concern for the child who was injured here and to express in the strongest possible terms their condemnation of this conduct.
The Commission remains committed to its dual mission of education and outreach to prevent discrimination and investigation and enforcement of charges of discrimination in employment, housing and places of public accommodation.
There is much work to be done.
