Funding for PAC should have been lined up
One hundred and sixty people sign a petition in support of the arts center and people are rejoicing? There are just under 90,000 people in Nashua. Where can folks who are against the arts center sign? This will be another millstone around the necks of Nashua taxpayers forever.
I thought I read that private benefactors would contribute over 25 percent of needed funds? Not one has been mentioned … and shouldn’t all that money be lined up prior to any vote? I think this is just another liberal pipe dream along the lines of the Broad Street Parkway and bringing rail to Nashua. Also, why isn’t an item of this magnitude put before the voters?
