Selectman needs to learn more about NRPC

As a representative for the town of Hudson to the Nashua Regional Planning Commission for seven years and as chairman to the Executive Committee for two years, I was surprised to hear Selectman Roger Coutu state that dues paid by the town "has provided us virtually nothing."

From this writer’s perspective, it appears that Mr. Coutu needs to become better informed of the services available to the town from this agency.

To this extent I would suggest that following town elections and, reorganization of the Board of Selectmen, that the new chairman appoint Mr. Coutu as Hudson’s representative to the NRPC so that he can become better informed.
