Patience, Mr. President; let panel act
The Senate has appointed a bipartisan committee of some very strong members to address the immigration issue. They will be meeting soon to get going. President Obama, impatient as he always is on such issues, leaked out his plan for immigration and stated if they do not act promptly that he will proceed with his proposal. His veiled threats and premature actions do not make for a good situation in his dealings with the Congress. Please, Mr. President, give the Senate committee a chance to deliberate. Perhaps they might come up with something that is right for the nation. Thank you.
