Telegraph wrong about Marilinda

Letter to the Editor

I am writing in response to the Telegraph’s faulty and possibly biased coverage of Marilinda Garcia during the Milford Labor Day Parade. You reported that Gary Lambert was present in the parade but implied Marilinda’s absence by saying she “wasn’t spotted among her supporters.” If your reporters had looked a little harder, they would have seen Marilinda shaking hundreds of hands in the crowd as her volunteers walked by. I would hope that even though your paper has endorsed Gary Lambert, your reporting would still be unbiased.

On that note, I really do believe you have chosen the wrong candidate for Congress. Gary Lambert is using divisive and false attacks to bring down Marilinda without offering real in-depth solutions to our national problems. Gary will carry on the record of divisive politicians entering Congress. Marilinda stands as a sharp contrast to that. While, as the Telegraph has argued, Marilinda is the most conservative candidate, that never stopped her from working to propose legislation that would help all of New Hampshire. During her eight-year stretch as a state representative, Marilinda personally read each bill before voting and gave a thoughtful, principled approach to her position. Marilinda will stick to her principles if elected to Congress, but will also work to find common solutions to national issues. We in New Hampshire are fortunate to have such a smart young lady running to represent us in Congress. ...
