Shaheen and Shea-Porter are extreme liberals

Granite Staters pride themselves on independence. Regardless of the elected official, none of us agree nearly 100 percent of the time with any politician. However, we in the 1st Congressional District are stuck with a U.S. Senator and representative who are completely comfortable with voting in lockstep with President Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi.

A well-respected publication, CQ Roll Call, recently announced that Sen. Jeanne Shaheen has voted 99 percent of the time with President Obama. In an interview with a local newspaper, Rep. Carol Shea-Porter actually admitted to voting with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi nearly 100 percent of the time because she thinks she is right 100 percent of the time. How can either Shaheen or Shea-Porter claim to be independent with voting records and statements like that? From Obamacare to higher taxes, both have ignored the will of New Hampshire in order to appease President Obama and Nancy Pelosi. That’s wrong. ...
