Lack of time excuse is lacking

Letter to the Editor

Kudos to Nashua Alderman Ken Siegel for taking the time to review the entire city budget line by line. Ward 9 Alderman Siegel has done a phenomenal job taking this responsibility seriously, as have several others. He eloquently deflected credit, saying, “This is not superstar stuff.” He is right. What it is, however, is a responsibility. Alderwoman Pam Brown says “Some of us have full-time jobs and don’t have the time.” If you do not have time, do not run, or resign if you are seated already. This responsibility takes time – the kind that Alderman Siegel commits.
