Concert series seems underappreciated

Letter to the Editor

Nashua Parks and Recreation sponsors “Summerfun” with many concerts at Greeley Park each summer. Lately, the attendance seems much smaller than in past years. My wife and I were there to hear The Amoskeag Strummers on a gorgeous evening (Monday, July 21) and I counted only about 60 to 70 people, spread out so that it looked like even less. We have over 80,000 residents of Nashua, plus many more nearby. It seems that too few are taking advantage of this outstanding effort to provide a variety of entertainment free of charge.

Let’s get out and support “Summerfun”!!! ...
