Letter to the Editor

Thank you, Americans For Prosperity.

I was impressed by your five fliers that I received in the mail over the last two weekends, filled with information about Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. I can honestly say that you made an impression on me. Prior to getting the fliers, I was considering a donation of $50 of my retirement income to the Shaheen campaign. Now, thanks to you and all your billionaire supporters, I’m going to donate $100 to the senator’s campaign. I know it’s nothing like your kind of big out-of-state money, but it’s all I can afford for now. How about cutting back on the junk mail. We already know who you support. No, wait! We don’t know who you support do we? It’s sort of an “anyone-but-Shaheen, fill in the blank kind of campaign,” isn’t it?

Perhaps I can interest your organization in supporting a campaign finance reform amendment to the U.S. Constitution?
