He’s hoping apple pie gets a fairer shake

I used to think all people were in favor of motherhood and apple pie. Apparantly Sen. Mitch McConnell is against motherhood. He has repeatedly stated that the U.S. medical system before Obamacre is (or was ) the best in the world.

Mr Robert Reich (The Telegraph, May 23, “American Women in Danger”) ennumerated a few ways that the U.S. health system has produced clear and obvious dangers to mothers in this country. Scott Brown (and other Republicans) are campaigning on removing Obamacare totally. They’re obviously interested in causing more deaths to mothers. I certainly hope their policy on apple pie will be more benign. ...
