Dr. Joseph R. Allard
DUNSTABLE, MA – Dr. Joseph R. Allard passed peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, April 24, 2012, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a sudden and brief illness.
Joseph was born in Lowell, MA. He was the son of the late Arthur J. and Evelyn G. (Massé) Allard. He was preceded by his sister, Marguerite D. Allard, his brother, Richard Allard and nephew, Ian Allard.
Dr. Allard was educated in Lowell graduating from Lowell High School. He received a BS in Business Administration with a Minor in Education from Suffolk University, Boston, MA. He earned his Masters of Education in School Administration from the University of Massachusetts and his Doctor of Education (Ed. D) from Boston University.
As a life-long educator, Joseph began his teaching career at Dracut High School teaching Business Courses. He then joined the faculty at the Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical Institute where he served as the Chairperson of the Computer Science, Business and Marketing Distributive Education Programs.
