Helen (Thibodeau) Dufour

Helen Elizabeth Dufour, age 89, passed away on April 25, 2012. Helen, daughter of Fred and Emma Lampron, was born July 6, 1922 and was raised in Loudon, NH, along with two younger brothers, Arthur Lampron, deceased, and Walter Lampron (wife, Sara) of Loudon, NH. Helen married Hampey Thibodeau, now deceased, in 1940 and they raised four children in Nashua, NH. The children are Barbara Aubut, deceased; Alan Thibodeau (wife, Peggy) of Concord, NH and Deland, FL; Arnold Thibodeau (wife, Jeannie) of Temple, NH; and Alfred Thibodeau (wife, Kathleen) of Carrollton, TX. Helen subsequently married Henry Dufour, now deceased, in 1970 and lived in Merrimack, NH for the last 30 years. For her final four years, Helen lived at Rose Haven, an assisted-living home in Merrimack. Helen had seven grandchildren, Stephen Aubut and Diane Carpenter, children of Barbara; Kathy Thibodeau, Kristen Astilla and Kevin Thibodeau, children of Alan; Michael Thibodeau, Deborah Bosenberg Thibodeau and Wesley Martin, children of Arnold. She had ten great-grandchildren. Helen was employed in Nashua for many years at Nashua Plastics and Hampshire Manufacturing. Post-retirement, Helen enjoyed frequent travel throughout the country with her late husband Henry. The family wishes to acknowledge and give our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Rose Haven for the exceptional, loving care given to our Mother. At Helen’s request, no service will be held. A celebration of her life will take place in July. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054
