Marion (Lenardson) Glancy

Marion (Lenardson) Glancy, 93, of N. Chelmsford, MA formerly of Nashua, NH died Tuesday April 24, 2012 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late John F. Glancy who died in 1994.

She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Blanche Lenardson. Marion graduated from Howe High School in Billerica with the Class of 1936. She graduated Tewksbury State Hospital Nursing School as a Registered Nurse.

Marion worked as a Registered Nurse for many years before retiring from Lowell General Hospital in 1975. She then volunteered at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in New Hampshire for 15 years.

She was an avid bowler, enjoyed reading in her spare time as well as emailing and visiting with friends and family.

She is survived by four children, Beverly and her husband Joseph Parent of Lowell, MA, Theresa and her husband George Dixon of N. Chelmsford with whom she resided, Debra and her husband Raymond Lambert of Manchester, NH, Jack and his wife Jannette Glancy of Billerica, MA; a sister Louise LeBlanc of Manchester, NH; seven grandchildren, Joseph Parent and his wife Stephanie, Timothy Parent, Michael Parent and his wife Heather, John Dixon and his companion Kim Keefe, Kerri Dixon, Lauren Shields and her husband Thomas, Christopher Lambert and his wife Laura; 2 great-grandchildren, Lillie Parent and Luke Parent; many nieces and nephews, as well as several close friends.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Alfred Lenardson of Canton, MA, Roy Lenardson of Lowell, MA, Ann Bleau and Doris Terrasi both of Billerica, MA.

There are no Visiting hours. Funeral Fri. at 8AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 115 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, MA. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery Chelmsford, MA.
