Richard H. Casale

Richard H. Casale, of Hollis NH, passed away Saturday April 7th surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 10, 1931 in East Boston, MA., son of the Late Richard and Elizabeth Casale.

Richard was a graduate of Boston Technical High School, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He proudly served his country in the Airforce, graduating from Hawthorne School of Aeronautics in 1953. He went onto get a B.S. in Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and in 2004 received an honorary Masters Degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Richard was a registered architect in MA, NH and CT. He was a member of the B.A.C. and where he later taught composition and design. He was a member of the A.I.A. and NCARB. He was a charter member of the Hollis/Brookline Rotary Club. He was partner of Keyes Association and went on to own his own architectural firm RHCPA of Hollis.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Regina Casale; son Mark and daughters Beth McGavock and Husband Jeff, and Nicole Lowe and Husband Alex; two sisters, Barbara Casale of Revere and Charlotte Graceffa and husband Jack of Hollis; and many nieces and nephews.

Richard had a love of old planes, sailing and taking fishing trips with his friends. His talents are seen in the design of many schools in NH and MA, and he was involved in many local municipal projects.

SERVICES: Visitation will be 4pm to 8pm, Tuesday, April 10th at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday, April 11th at Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the Home Health and Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
