Douglas Edward Connors

Douglas E. Connors aka Double D or Dougie Doug, 52, resident of Brookline, NH, died February 13, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family and devoted friends.

He was born in Malden, MA on October 26, 1959, son and third child of Malcolm and Jean Allfrey Connors.

He graduated from Hollis Brookline High School in 1978 and continued a career in the commercial roofing industry throughout New England as a skilled tradesman spanning more than 30 years and was respected for his expansive knowledge of residential and commercial roofing.

“Dougie-Doug” Connors was esteemed and appreciated for two gifts he was blessed to share widely – his generosity and humor.

Possessing a remarkable humorist’s intellect, Doug regaled all who knew him.

Doug will be remembered as a prolific source of laughter from stories to comedic lines that all who shared time with him will undoubtedly enjoy recanting the rest of their days.

Doug enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Connors of Brookline, NH, two sisters, Katherine Connors and Patricia (Connors) Coleman both of Brookline, NH, and brother David Connors of Stuart, FL. The family would like to extend gratitude for all of those who shared compassion and support.

Memorial Services will be held at the Brookline Chapel, Main Street, Brookline, NH, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00am with a Celebration of Life reception to immediately follow at the Brookline Event Center, 32 Proctor Hill Rd., Brookline, NH from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
