Henry R. ‘Hank’ Rodier
Henry R. “Hank” Rodier, 55, of Nashua, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, February 11, 2012 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.
A son of the late Roland J. and Helen Grace (Quint) Rodier, he was born in Nashua on August 10, 1956. Hank made his home in Litchfield during his youth and was educated in Litchfield and Hudson schools. After attending Alvirne High School, Mr. Rodier served a tour of duty with the Army in the mid 1970s.
Hank had been employed with Beebe Rubber Company for a number of years and was currently working as a painter at Rapid Finishing in Nashua for the past ten years.
An active sportsman, Hank enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and horseshoes. He was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
One of six children, Hank was predeceased by two brothers, Roger A. Rodier and Curtis A. Rodier; and a sister, Elaine M. Metsiou.
Members of his family include his wife, Patricia E. (Clifford) Rodier of Nashua; his five children, Amanda M. Rodier, Joseph H. Rodier, Shannon L. Rodier, Rebecca J. Rodier and Robert J. Rodier all of Nashua; five grandchildren, Anastasia, Joselyn, Naomi, Peyton and Daniel; a brother, Wayne D. Rodier of Salem, NH; a sister, Patricia A. Nesbit of Milford; also nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua. Following cremation, interment will be private.
