Jennifer Hubbard Brooks

Jennifer Hubbard Brooks, 56 of Hollis NH, passed away unexpectedly due to unforeseen medical complications on Sunday June 9th 2019 surrounded by her family. A native of Skaneatles NY, Jennifer moved to southern NH as a newlywed in 1986 where she and her husband started a family and their careers together. Her life and legacy now lives on through her family. She leaves behind her husband of 33 years, James Brooks of Hollis NH, and their three children, Samantha Brooks of Harrisonburg VA, Alexander Brooks and Joseph Brooks also both of Hollis NH. She is survived by her father Joseph Hubbard of NY, and her sister Deborah Nussbaum of WA, along with countless other relatives and loved ones across the United States.

Jennifer graduated from Russell Sage College in 1985 to practice physical therapy (PT) serving hundreds of human and four-legged clients for over 30 years in the southern NH region. She received a Masters of Education from Rivier University and taught PT at several institutions of higher education in the years to follow. She pioneered a rehabilitation program at the University of Tennessee and remains held in high esteem for her work and research in animal PT nationwide. She was a fierce advocate for her family, a champion for her children, and a trailblazer in the field of animal PT and rehabilitation. She began her own business out of Brookline NH in 2006 that then became the Horse n’ Hound Clinic opened in Hollis NH in 2015; a lifetime dream she brought to life and cherished with all of her heart. She loved and was loved by her family, her friends, her staff, her clients, and most of all, her four-legged friends.
