Denise M. (Lowe) McCrady

Denise M. (Lowe) McCrady, 68, died Thursday May 23, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Denise was born on January 10, 1951 in Lowell, MA daughter of the late George E. Lowe and Rose E. (George) Lowe.

Denise graduated from Dracut High School, Class of 1968. She always enjoyed seeing her classmates and renewing friendships at the class reunions. Denise loved to travel with her family and friends. Denise was a communicant of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lowell. She was active in her community serving on the Hudson Task Force on Suicide Prevention for many years; she attended one of the first Citizens Police Academies in Hudson. She owned and operated Beaver Valley Early Learning Center for 25 years. Denise will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She spent many hours cooking alongside her mother, sisters and daughters preparing the traditional Lebanese dishes and desserts. Each of her children always had a favorite request at family gatherings. If you ever sat down at Denise’s table for a meal you know she was a great cook. Denise had a smile that would brighten a room and bring joy to your day.

Most importantly Denise adored and cherished her family and friends above all; she will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to have known her and to have had her as part of their lives.

Besides her loving mother Rose E. Lowe, Denise is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Donald R. McCrady, two daughters and three sons, Tara (McCrady) Marshall and her husband William of Hudson, NH, Christopher Gaska and his wife Melissa of Derry, NH, Eric Gaska and his wife Sabrina of Merrimack, NH, Gregory McCrady and his wife Valerie of Pickens, SC, Laura (McCrady) Cote of Charleston, SC, twelve grandchildren; Liam, Mila, Ella, Marcello, Austin, Gabriel, Sophia, Tanner, Ashley, Christian, Noah and Drew ; three sisters, her twin sister Deborah Koravos and her husband Daniel of Desert Palms, CA, Leslie Burgess and her husband William of Mansfield, MA, Robin Lemons and her husband Robert of Andover, MA; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday May 28th from 4-6:30pm (closing prayers being said at 6:30pm) in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., Hudson, NH. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 30th at 10am in St George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 44 Bowers St., Lowell, MA 01854. Burial will take place immediately following in Westview Cemetery, Lowell, MA. In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association of New Hampshire, 166 South River Rd. #210, Bedford, NH 03110.
