Richard R. Dupont

Richard R. Dupont, 64, of Easley South Carolina, died on February 16, 2019 in Anderson, South Carolina.

Born in Nashua on April 8, 1954, he was a son of the late Leonard Ronald and Theresa (Lavallee) Dupont. Richard graduated from Bishop Guertin High School in 1972, received a BA in Biology from St Anselm College in 1976, and earned a Masters in Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University in 1978. Over the years, he worked as a Research Librarian at Combustion Engineering, Duracell, and United Technologies Research Center in Connecticut.

His love of His Lord Jesus Christ lead him to study and obtain a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies, theology, and ministry from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary of Springfield, Missouri in 1995. He then worked as a Librarian at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and later as the Director of Library Services at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. Most recently, he was teaching part-time at Holmes Bible College in Greenville, SC while also running his own company, Foothills Internet Marketing, with his wife Linda.

Members of his family include his beloved wife, Linda C. (Roush) Dupont of Easley, South Carolina, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan M. Dupont and Ann T. and Daniel Bouchard all of Nashua; also aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, David R. Dupont of Nashua, NH.

SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Fellowship Church, 3610 Brushy Creek Road in Greer, South Carolina, Saturday morning, March 9th at 10 AM. Interment will take place in St Louis de Gonzaga Cemetery in Nashua, NH on Wednesday morning, March 13th at 10 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend.
