Robert J. Ouellette
Robert J. Ouellette, 68, of Nashua died peacefully at his home on September 3, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Ouellette was born in Salem, MA on September 19, 1949, a son of the late Roger and Rita (Devarenne) Ouellette.
Robert was the husband of Christine M. (O’Keefe) Ouellette. They have shared over 35 years of marriage.
Throughout his career, he worked the United States Postal Service for over 21 years prior to his retirement.
Some of his favorite pastimes were bowling and playing cribbage. He loved to spend his time with family and friends. Robert was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and NY Giants fan.
He was a Vietnam War Veteran of the United States Army. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.
Besides his beloved and devoted wife, Mr. Ouellette is survived by his sons, Sean Ouellette and Michael O’Keefe both of Nashua; his brother, Richard Ouellette of Lowell, MA; and his beloved companion and confidant, his dog “Jed”.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis de Gonzague Parish, West Hollis St., Nashua on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to attend. Interment prayers, military honors and burial will be held the NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen NH on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 12:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Vietnam Veterans of America, 8719 Colesville Rd, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910 (www.vva.org).
