Frances Joan Catapano

Frances Joan Catapano of Hudson, NH died Monday August 27th at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Born August 3rd, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Bifulco) Santosus and had a Sister Marie Antorino and brother Anthony Santosus who preceded her in death. Frances was married to Louis Salvatore Catapano for over 62 years prior to his passing in 2013.

Frances Grew up in Huntington, New York and graduated from Huntington High School in 1949. During HS she met her husband to be Louis Catapano and they began dating. In 1950 while Louis was home on leave from the Navy during the Korean War they married. When the war ended they settled in Huntington to raise a family. They had three sons, Gary, Richard and Louie who all survive her: Gary and Mary Catapano, Brookline New Hampshire, Richard and Abbe Catapano, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Louie and Ann Marie Catapano Rush New York.

Frances worked for over 25 years as a Dental Assistant and Office Manager for several dentist in the Huntington, New York area. Frances and her husband retired and moved to Palm Harbor Florida where they resided for over 20 years before moving to Milford New Hampshire to be with their son Gary and his Wife Mary who took care of both of them due to health issues in the later years of their lives.

Frances was devoted to her husband and their sons families, including (11) Grandchildren and (6) great grandchildren. They enjoyed traveling, taking several trips to Europe and other parts of the U.S. She enjoyed celebrating the special times and the holidays with her family and friends and will be remembered and missed by many.

SERVICES: There will be a private service for Family on Saturday September 8th 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad Street, Nashua NH 03063 Saturday at 11:00 am. Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the church. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Milford NH.
