Anna Margaret Osbon passed into God’s hands on June 30, 2018. She was 100 years, seven months old and resided most recently at Kent Village of the Huntington at Nashua, New Hampshire.
Anna was born in Chicago on November 5, 1917. She married her husband, Kenneth Osbon, who was from Palatine IL, when he was stationed in Pensacola Florida as a naval flight instructor. They had a family of five children (2 girls, 3 boys). Both she and her husband were ambitious and they gradually moved their family from the Midwest to the East Coast as Kenneth’s career advanced. As her children grew older, Anna focused on her intellectual pursuits and graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education from Framingham State University.
Both Anna and her husband loved to travel and in the 1990s they took a lengthy journey circumnavigating the globe. Anna was always ready for the next challenge, eager to learn, and able to make the best of any situation with an easy laugh She was known for her focused determination, athletic health, organization, and sense of design. Most notably she had a strong Christian faith at her core. She was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church in Nashua.
A family highlight was Anna’s 100th birthday celebration in 2017.
Anna was predeceased by her husband and a daughter. She is survived by four children, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren,
Anna was laid to rest in Edgewood Cemetery in a private commemorative service.
