Brenda E. Carver

Brenda E. Carver; 69, of Windham, NH, passed peacefully on July 10, 2018, comforted by friends at her side.

She is survived by her brother, David R. Goodwin; a daughter, Pamela J. Casey; grandchildren, Aimee Carrier, Melanie Carrier, Joshua Carrier, and Spencer Ladd; as well as her extended family Marc Carver, Muriel Goodwin, Patricia Poston, Mary Linnehan, Barbara Bizier, Cheryl Beaudry, and Leonard Williams, cousins and friends.

Friends describe Brenda as a person with a kind heart, friendly, quirky, sensitive, generous, and feisty. Her motto was “Dance until the lights go out.”

Brenda was self employed for many years in the field of Graphic Arts. She was a member of the Granite State Board of Realtors (GSSBR), NH State and National Association of Realtors as well as the NH State and Local Board of Directors. As a member of GSSBR she served in the capacity as Secretary, VP, and President. Brenda was a 10 year Honor Society member, she was nominated for Realtor of the Year, and held positions as chairperson, vice chairperson and as a member of several committees. She received the President’s Award and Appreciation Award for Outstanding Service from the GSSBR. Brenda was a member of the Rockingham, NH State, and a National Association committee member of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR). As a member of the Rockingham and NH State WCR she served ear in the capacity of Treasurer, Secretary, VP, and President. For two consecutive years she received the Member of the Year Award from both the Rockingham and NH State Chapters of WCR. Brenda served as a Justice of the Peace and was a past member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls.

Her greatest pleasure came from becoming a Ballroom Dancer; she also enjoyed shopping for dance costumes online and retail therapy shopping, vacationing in Maine, observing butterflies and hummingbirds in her gardens, and playing the piano. Her greatest challenge and reward was t take part in the design and building stages of her home.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 10am to 11 am followed by a memorial service at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road Windham, NH.
