Lucille (Brodeur) Caron

NASHUA- Lucille (Brodeur) Caron, 88, a life-long resident of Nashua, died peacefully Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Hurbert Caron.

Lucille was born in Nashua on February 19, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Florida (Tremblay) Brodeur. She received her education in the St Louis schools and was a graduate of St. Louis High School.

She was employed at Isidores Beauty Salon from 1945 until 1952 when she decided to become a full time mother and raise her beautiful family.

Lucille was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Ladies Guild at St. Louis Church. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family.

Lucille is survived by her four sons, Retired General Gerard A. Caron and his wife Kathleen of San Antonio, Texas, Daniel W. Caron and his wife Alberta of Gilford, NH, Robert M. Caron of Bennington, NH and Thomas Caron and his wife Debbie of Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughter Dr. Lu-Ann M. Caron-Leslie of Medway MA and her former husband Dr. David S. Leslie of Wellesley, MA; her eight grandchildren, James, Bryce, and Jory Caron, MacMillan Leslie, Gillian Altman, Kristen Leslie, Carolina Leslie and Mariah Leslie; four great-grandchildren, Violet and Hazel Altman and Darwin and Zaynab Caron. She is also survived by her sisters, Alma Raskiewicz of Nashua and Irene Boldini of Nashua, her sisters-in-law Cecile Caron and Doris Caron of Nashua and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lucille’s Memorial Mass on THURSDAY, August 23rd at 8:30 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Kindly meet at church. Graveside prayers and interment will take place for Lucille and her husband, Hurbert at 9:15 AM in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis Street, Nashua.
