Eugene ‘Gene’ Correa

Eugene “Gene” Correa, 50, of Nashua, passed away peacefully at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after a long illness on August 11, 2018.

He was born in Pusan, South Korea on March 1, 1968, a son of Edmond and Chong (Cho) Correa of Nashua.

Throughout his career, Eugene had managed several restaurants. He is remembered for his being with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing video games, Bingo and poker. He also liked to attend local flea markets and hunting for antiques. He was an Eagle Scout. He was a generous person and made 30 benches for an orphanage in Turkey. At one time, he was also a member of the Junior Army ROTC and Junior Air Force ROTC.

Eugene has circled the world as his father was career Air Force. Eugene was a graduate of Bedford (Mass) High School and had attended schools all over the world.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Correa and her significant other, Isiah Bridges; his longtime partner, Susan Belanger; his sister, Janie Doherty; his nieces, Grace and Rose; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

SERVICES: A Celebration of Eugene’s Life will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
