Jeanne Crouch

Jeanne Crouch passed away on June 1, 2018 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to James Tuckett and Agnes O’Neil.

Jeanne was a graduate of Coal Township High School. She lived in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania until her marriage to Edwin, her husband of almost 50 years. Jeanne spent many years as a devoted army wife and loving mother, living in various places in Germany and the United States. She lived in Nashua for over thirty years and enjoyed her career as secretary in the English Department at Nashua High School.

Jeanne enjoyed family gatherings with her children and grandchildren. She especially loved dining out, and even in her later years relished every opportunity to visit her favorite restaurants. She had a special bond with each of her grandchildren, and always remembered their birthdays with loving cards and gifts. She was an avid reader and kept up to date on current events, with a keen interest in national politics. She was a frequent traveler and especially enjoyed her recent trip to Ireland with her family to visit her distant relatives. Throughout her life, she relied on her faith to help her through the difficult times. She was a generous donor to many Catholic charities and churches.

She is survived by five children, James, Kathleen, Karen, Margaret and Joseph as well as seven grandchildren, Adam, Jake, Bridget, Cara, Katelyn, Sara and James. Jeanne is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law, Pauline.

She is predeceased by her husband, Edwin and her son, Thomas, as well as her brothers, Robert and William and sisters, Margaret and Carolyn.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Rd., Nashua, New Hampshire.
